Lately, I’ve been unwinding by watching professional Twitch streamers play games, give updates on new releases, and more. Part of it is because my husband games a lot. The other part?

Well, truth be told, most video games have better writing than the stupid shlock being passed as television shows. If you take time to immerse yourself in game lore, you might be surprised at how much it can make you think.

Then again, I was always a sucker for lore-heavy gaming. I was a fanatic of Exile (also known as Avernum) and Realmz growing up. Regardless, these recent reveals blew me away in terms of writing.

Like in similar roundups before, I’m going to explain the key takeaways that make them so good.
