“My Blue Is Not Your Blue.”
A stoner talk brings out some serious truths for writers.
Lately, I’ve been struggling with a serious case of writer’s block…so I did what I normally do. I go to my local hangout spot, grabbed some kratom and Red Bull, and chatted with my friends.
My friends at the spot tend to get into trippy conversations. This was one of those days — and it actually got me thinking about what it means to be a writer.
My friend asked me, “How do I know what your blue looks like?”
I responded, “I don’t think you can. I’m colorblind.”
My husband pointed out something: “No one can really see everything through your set of eyes, you know. We all have different perceptions.”
