The Dirty Little Secret “Open-Minded” Dating Apps Don’t Want You To Know

I have multiple friends who have been banned from Tinder. These are all women, and no, they are not serial killers. (Shocker, right?) They have not sent naughty pictures to potential dates, nor have they asked men to join their OnlyFans.
In recent years, that number also increased when it comes to “open minded” apps like Feeld. These are apps that are deeply sexually charged and open to having poly relationships. They should be accepting, right?
However, they are all banned. Some of them are permanently banned. Why? It’s not because of anything they did or said to people on the apps. It’s because of their line of work.
An open secret about dating apps is that they ban sex workers from being on there.
The reason why my friends are banned is because they are adult film stars. One of my closest friends, Lasha Lane, was banned and lost her ability to appeal because Tinder thinks that she’s too much of a liability.
Marcella Alonso, also pointed out that this is not just a Tinder thing. On her Instagram, she explained that Feeld, an ENM dating app, blocked her multiple times because she’s a sex worker.
Hazel Grace, another blocked party, seems to be in the same boat. What’s interesting about this is that many sex workers are able to stay on both Tinder and Feeld…as long as they are white.
