COLLAB: Man, Conservative Men Are Going To Hate Project 2025
Project 2025 is not the ally conservative men hope it is, co-authored by Ossiana Tepfenhart and Political Pat
When it comes to Project 2025, it looks like a conservative man’s idea of paradise at first glance. It involves the rollback of women’s rights, the rollback of environmental protections, new perks for wealthy men, and the rollback of child labor laws—just to name a few.
Yeah, it looks great on paper…until you read the fine print that would make even most conservatives realize they’re destroying their own lives, too. Political Pat joins Ossiana Tepfenhart to uncover the many, many reasons why conservative men will hate life under Project 2025.
No more abortions for the mistress.
If you have an affair (or even a fling) that ends up with a pregnancy, she’s not going to be the only one who’s S.O.L. You will be, too. Project 2025 would gut abortion access and likely result in a nationwide ban against both abortions and contraception in the long term.
So, if you end up knocking up your mistress, you might end up being on the hook for thousands of dollars in child support. And your wife? Oh, she’ll know. And she might leave—if it’s still legal to do so.
Hosting mass deportations means you won’t get cheap lawn care, cleaning, or laundry anymore.
This is a huge chunk of Project 2025: the dismantling of immigrant workers’ rights. This may seem like a good thing to conservatives until they see how this will hit their wallets. Immigrants often work the grimy, backbreaking jobs no one wants—often for a lower price.
Similar to the slaves of old, migrants without papers are often exploited. Wages are withheld, labor and child trafficking are higher, and more are forced into sex work. The movie A_Day_Without_a_Mexican was a farce, but it’s an easy glimpse of how life might change if the massive deportation the conservatives want actually happens.
Workers who might be suspected immigrants work in nearly every field. Not that kind. Teachers, healthcare workers, police and military, and… the US government. Wikipedia’s list of foreign-born United States politicians includes too many to mention.
Ted Cruz was born in Canada. His mother was American, and his father emigrated from Cuba. He’s considered an American the same way Jewish mothers give birth to Jewish children—heritage follows the mother under certain immigration rules.
As for the economic fallout, almost 20% of American billionaires weren’t born here. Think Elon Musk would react well to an inconvenient massive immigrant deportation? He’d likely threaten (by angry tweet) to move Tesla, SpaceX, X-Twitter, his AI venture, and everything else out of the country. That’s a lot of lost jobs, tax revenue, and complicated government contracts.
Maybe think about the American government contracts granted for StarLink and other satellite services. If you rely on immigrants for lawn care, salon care, laundry, house cleaning, or the cleaning of your own business area, you’re going to have a bad time.
There won’t be enough people to book work regularly.
It’s also worth noting that a large percentage of doctors are immigrants from another country. America currently has a doctor shortage. If doctors and other health professionals leave, getting healthcare will be nearly impossible.
While we’re talking about immigrant rights, we might as well go over what Project 2025 means for conservative men who aren’t married to white women.
Project 2025 might also nullify your marriage if it’s considered to be miscegenation.
It never ceases to shock me how many conservative men are married to women outside their race. Clarence Thomas is married to some white broad. JD Vance is married to Usha, an Indian woman. Mitch McConnell is married to an Asian woman.
You would think that falling in love with a person outside your race would make you realize that working for the party of white supremacy is a bad idea. Yet, here we are. They may have forgotten that Project 2025 primes politicians for being able to overturn Loving v. Virginia—the court case that legalized interracial marriage.
Though Project 2025 doesn’t explicitly say anti-miscegenation laws are going to be passed, it’s clear that it’s a possibility. With the amount of white nationalists who work in the GOP, it’s definitely a potential outcome that conservative “passport bros” wouldn’t be too pleased with.
“Throughout Project 2025, innocent-sounding phrases like ‘discrimination against faith-based initiatives will be abolished,” ‘an ideal family structure includes,” and “unfair competitive advantages.”
Without the code-speak, the first one means, “Teach the Bible in school, bring back school prayer, and stop discriminating against white men when handing out grants, scholarships, and loans!”
The second states the only valid family is a marriage between a natural man and woman who don’t use birth control, adopt, or get divorced.
“Unfair competitive advantages” means “drop deviant sexual behavior and protections for minority protected classes; no DEI, no sex or gender harassment protections, and give all the White Christian Males the jobs!”
“God’s laws” are stressed over “man's laws,” and power only goes to the States if the much more restrictive Federal mandates are observed. Like the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850, if the Southern states couldn’t solve their major “immigration” issue of the day and capture runaway slaves in the Northern Free States (think: Immigration Sanctuary cities and states) using their own laws, the Feds would help out with marshall bounty hunters who worked outside of the courts.
But, if the Federal laws weren’t strong enough for their liking, States could impose their own.
No citizenship for you—or your kids.
Project 2025’s goals are similar in their desire to squash the Natural Born Citizen designation. A natural-born citizen is a person who is a United States citizen by birth and did not need to go through a naturalization process later in life. The term is used in the United States Constitution to establish eligibility requirements for the office of President. People born in the US are said to have birthright citizenship.
Let’s go back to that time during the 1860s to explain why that is so important.
When marshalls picked up those who might be runaway slaves, even if the kids were born in free states, they might be deported to Louisiana, Alabama, and other Southern States and become property of the slave owners. This is what Trump and his oh-so-weirdo sidekick Stephen Miller (Muslim ban) have in mind for “ a massive deportation like you’ve never seen before.”
The point is, “Remove everyone standing in the white man’s way! We’ve been discriminated against for far too long! We need special Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs to make up for how we’ve been treated! Honor God’s wishes! The Bible lays it all out - we’ll be good to our slaves!”
Women aren’t excluded from this reorganization. JD Vance, Project 2025, and enlightened men like Texas Pastor Joel Wesson of the Right Response Ministries and Covenant Bible Church make it crystal clear: Women have pushed men out of their God-given roles of provider and head of household.
Not only should they accept the role of handmaiden popping out babies one after the other, cooking, cleaning, and supporting their husbands in the Traditional way as God intended, but they also need to shut the hell up when it comes to voting.
Citing God’w Word in the Bible, (any book reflecting Patriarchal rule would do), “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.”
Meaning: A woman should not be able to cast a vote that might contradict her husband’s.
At the heart of it, the Christian Nationalists want to return to a pre-Constitution time when all those pesky rights won’t be inflicted on anyone. Especially those that separate “Church and State.” This is so what they call “faith-based discrimination” will no longer be a problem as they try to prioritize “God’s law” over the United States Federal laws.
Louisiana, Oklahoma, and others have mandated teaching parts of the Bible in public schools already. Getting rid of the separation of church and state allows them to ignore Supreme Court rulings that essentially protect non-Christians from having their kids indoctrinated into Christianity at public schools.
But! The manly man can vote for her, and his children, too! Yep, JD campaigned for Senate saying natural fathers should get as many votes as they have kids. Step, adoptive, and anyone paired with someone in the LGBTQ community aren’t natural parents; they’re “miserable childless cat ladies.”
To be perfectly clear, Pastor Joel and the far-right promote repealing the 19th Amendment - a woman’s right to vote. If (God forbid!) the mother isn’t under the care of a husband, then her father, brother, or uncle gets the honor.
No more life-saving care for the wife or abortions for your daughter.
Fellas, let’s talk. Abortion is not just a procedure to end a pregnancy. It’s also healthcare. If your fetus dies in utero, your wife could get sepsis and die. The problem with abortion bans with an exception for saving the life of the mother is this: doctors can’t start working until the mom’s about to die.
Conservative men who love their wives will be horrified to hear that their wives could die because of Project 2025. On a similar note, if your unwed daughter gets pregnant, she can’t abort it, either. This will be true, even when there’s evidence of rape.
Political Pat made a killer article on this that expounds on the dangers of abortion restrictions—even for those who aren’t directly getting them.
Your wife might get locked up, even if she is pro-life.
Big news, fellas! The medical term for “miscarriage” is “spontaneous abortion.”
The abortion ban means women having miscarriages may be denied life-saving treatment provided through D&Cs. When clinics and procedures associated with elective abortions disappear, so do pregnancy, STD, and other tests that may detect cancer, endometriosis, and cysts, to name a few.
The cheap, convenient, respectful place that handed out birth control pills, condoms, and educational materials leaves the area as fast as the doctors who don’t want the hassle. Forget driving to another state. Your insurance may not pay if you get there, and the state may outlaw such escapes from under their noses and thumbs.
Say goodbye to early cancer detection and treatment that could save a life. Doctors are already reticent to work on women in red states. Pregnant women who have cancer often need abortions so that they can get care in time to save their lives. What happens is that they are denied, leading to the inevitable death of both the mother and child.
If by some miracle, your inconveniently pregnant female does manage to get abortion medication and needs medical care to control bleeding or other problems, chances are she’ll be arrested and tried for murder.
Texas is leading the way. Is anyone up for aiding and abetting in a murder? Yep, you’ll be on the hook, too. This will often lead to fines upward of $20,000 or more, depending on the circumstances of the birth. You might even end up in the local paper for a good ol’ fashioned public shaming if you’re really unlucky.
Besides controlling women’s bodies, Project 2025 does try to protect men’s most important property: wealth. So maybe they’ll make exceptions. Not for incest, rape, or the things you might expect. They could follow the lead of another country—the Bastion of Women’s Rights and Freedoms, Iran.
Iran allows abortions if having the baby would place a financial hardship on the parents. If the child is likely to have a birth defect or disease that would be costly to treat, the mother can get an abortion, with her husband’s approval.
Who’d have thought Iran was the cradle of the libs?
I don’t think conservative men are ready to see how much trauma their daughters will deal with should Project 2025 goes through.
Moreover, kids and women aren’t stupid. If they know sex will be Russian Roulette for them, they’ll stop having it as much as they do now. Ossiana already explained this in their article about the politicization of dating and singledom.
Simply put, traumatized women do not want to risk the possibility of ruining their lives with a role in the hay. They may stay single forever, which will lead to less grandkids for the same white guys who are hoping to be a grandpa to 50 kids.
Internet porn and OnlyFans will be a thing of the past.
The increased legislature around pornography and obscenity laws will likely drive many porn companies totally out of business stateside. Most conservatives love their porn—even if they vehemently claim they don’t. PornHub has already shut down its service in several states after porn user ID laws came into play.
The Comstock Act will allow the Government to stop the shipment of abortion, birth control, hormone treatments, and anything else it deems obscene. Porn is specifically targeted as criminal when made or distributed.
While the law originally targeted the US Postal Service, digital content is included. Project 2025 plans to dismantle, restructure, or rename regulatory agencies like the FCC, FTC, and every other one that restricts the goals of the Heritage [Wealth] Foundation. Control of every branch and agency will be concentrated under the President, who will control what is and is not allowed to be shared online.
For example, NPR, Radio Pacifica, and PBS will be eliminated, while large social media platforms targeted will have more constraints. Oddly enough, Rumble, the “minimal censorship” platform that hosts videos and users banned from other platforms, is exempt, as it supports the far-right, Trump Media, Truth Social, and includes investors JD Vance and Peter Thiel.
If men think this won’t affect their particular state, they’re daft. It will be much harder (and far more expensive) to access their digital spank banks in the future.
Restricting divorce means you can’t leave, either.
Oh, JD Vance loves to talk about how much he wants to make divorce illegal. If Project 2025 goes through, you might have a harder time leaving your spouse. For men who don’t want a divorce, that’s great.
For those leading a double life with more than one family, that’s illegal.
For women who decide to make the man’s life hell until they leave, that might also be great. For men stuck with such a woman, that means you’re really not going to be happy. You might get stuck with her.
Project 2025 wants to bring back “fault” divorce, which means that the person who is at fault of the divorce (with proof) gets a lot more money. Conservative men will not like that because they are more likely to abuse their spouses. So, a divorce will become a lot more costly for conservatives.
Oh, and if the guy cheats? Yep. At-fault states give benefits to the person who is wronged and granted the divorce. So, she won’t just leave with half. She might leave with as much as 75 percent of your stuff or more.
All in all, Project 2025, Agenda 47, and the influences on the Republican ticket spell trouble for everyone.
Being a white, straight, Christian man with wealth will not save you. It won’t. And the sooner the right-wing men realize this, the better off we’ll all be.
