I’m going to be blunt: my spouse and I want to move. While we love our place, the truth is that we’ve started to notice an uptick of crime in our area and we no longer are sure that we feel safe. A large portion of that?

It’s the spillover from New York City.

New York City has gotten bad, and I don’t care that the papers are saying crime is at a low there. I’ve spoken to dozens of people who moved out of the city because they were afraid for their lives—including a woman who openly admitted she can’t walk home at night in her borough.
