No, hear me out. There are certain similarities that make me wonder.
I’ll let you in on a little secret: I love reading paranormal stories and legends. One of the legends that I came across repeatedly was the legend of the wendigo. Now, it’s important to understand something about wendigos: you probably don’t have the right idea about them.
It is true that certain Native American tribes, particularly those in the northern section of the States, have a legend involving a wendigo, also spelled weitiko. That much remains true. Unfortunately, the legend got bastardized online.
Most people have seen online forums talking about Wendigos, giving them this look of an emaciated being with the head of a deer that wanders through the woods. On Reddit, people are even claiming that they see these creatures or that they have attacked people.
