This Is The Main Reason I've Started To Hang Out With Republicans More
Sometimes, I want to know where I stand with people.
Let me tell you how I got laid off from my most recent job. I kept asking for guidance. My editor kept saying “later” or would just say that I was doing fine. I found out I was let go because my time tracker stopped working. No one told me or announced my firing. I got no PIP, no help, nothing.
I literally had to reach out to HR to find out what’s going on. I explained that I was asking for help and that no one was willing to listen to me. I asked for feedback. They kept saying, “It’s a quality issue.”

Unsurprisingly, this company was notoriously left-leaning. To date, I’ve never had this type of a problem in a company that leaned right. And it just dawned on me today that this is a serious problem in the leftie community.
Perhaps that’s why I’ve started to get along with people who I was shocked to later discover voted GOP. It’s making me rethink my stance on befriending people who vote red—for better or for worse.
