Yes, Feminazis Exist And They Are A Problem
Before you assume things, hear me out…
Tell me if you’ve figured this out yet: women are pissed. In recent years, the dating scene has all but crumbled. Women, for the first time, are not as investing in slut-shaming or single-shaming one another.
In fact, they are kind of over being the side characters to men’s “main character” fantasies altogether. With the increasingly hostile, controlling attitudes men flaunt toward the women they allegedly care about, it’s no shocker that feminism is taking center stage in society’s lexicon.
Unless you’re a fundie or tradwife enthusiast, chances are that the women around you are feminists. They’re talking about the colleges they want to attend, the careers they want, and the fact that many of them don’t want kids.
Feminism, whether men like it or not, is the cool thing for women to do. (Always has been, always will be. Sorry, haters!) However, I’ll be the first to say that feminism is a spectrum of beliefs.
Some feminists are just all about equal pay. Others want true equality, while even more seem to be unable to agree on what constitutes feminist sexuality. As I said, feminism can mean a lot of things to a lot of people.
Generally speaking, most feminists want to have equal pay, rights to their bodies, no stigma over sex, and healthy relationships. That’s the core message of feminism: the freedom to choose what you want to do.
Then, there is the new cabal of feminists — if you can even call them that. These are the ladies who make me want to plant my head on my keyboard until I give myself a concussion.
They’re cringe-inducing, hateful, bilious people. They’re the feminist version of the smelly otaku who has never made friends with a bar of acne-fighting soap.
They’re…feminazis. Literally.
Let’s talk about how the far right courted the radfem movement.
Like with all right-wing BS, it started online. Does anyone remember the days when Female Dating Strategy was blowing up on Reddit? It was about a year ago, and it was a dating advice channel that happened to have a lot of “radfem” ideas.
The ideas were said to be liberal, and truthfully, I believe that they had some very good talking points. They also were quick to point out the hypocrisy of men and the double standards that hurt women.
I found myself nodding along, actually going so far as to agree that hookup culture has hurt women because men can’t seem to be decent to hookups. I actually found myself understanding why women are going celibate.
But then, I started to notice it: a creeping political agenda under the chats. First, the talk started to be more hateful. It was no longer women talking about the stupid shit men do to “humble” dates or the way they flip out when rejected.
Rather, women started to talk about how they blanketly hated men. They didn’t even want to date them anymore because they literally found a burning hate in their stomach for them. That was…weird but potentially a side effect from being traumatized by dating bad men.
Then, it started to get a little more pronounced with their anti-porn stance. And then it started to add a little more worry about pedophilia and men. I started to notice all this hubbub about being “feminine” enough for a good man.
I stopped going on that board, but started noticing something else happening online…
I started to notice a growing number of women who were “feminists” who also were TERFs and SWERFs.
TERFs, or Trans-exclusive Radfems, hate transpeople. They do not view transwomen as women despite scientific evidence showing that transwomen have brains more aligned with ciswomen than they do men.
SWERFs, or Sexwork-exclusive Radfems, hate sex workers. I don’t think I need to explain why I hate these slut-shaming harpies, right? They want to take away women’s rights to sex work, which actually worsens women’s quality of life.
Both of these sectors of feminism have been hijacking intersectional feminism and traditional feminism for hateful reasons. More specifically, they’re doing it to bash trans people, spread homophobia, and harm sex workers.
Let’s be real. There’s nothing “feminist” about having other people forcefully define your gender, your body autonomy, your job, or your role in a relationship. Sadly, TERFs and SWERFs didn’t get that memo.
Celebrity radfems have been particularly voiceful on their hate.
In recent years, “radfem” TERFs like disgraced author JK Rowling and Posie Parker have been posting hate speech about transwomen. In fact, Rowling herself was named in a lawsuit by Algerian Olympian Imane Khalif for her (unbased, incorrect) accusations of Khalif being a man.
Posie Parker, another famous TERF, became famous for her UK-based rallies that told transwomen they are not welcome in female-only spaces. Eventually, she started using phrases like “protect women,” a classic dog-whistle for alt-right misogyny.
Most feminists are famously left-leaning, primarily because feminism is about civil rights. Unsurprisingly, we started to raise a collective eyebrow when we noticed that Posie Parker’s entourage started to include actual Nazis who “protected” her.
Hm.
You know…when you’re sitting at a table of five Nazis, that usually means you’re the sixth Nazi there. Yeah. Posie Parker and her ilk? They’re feminazis. They went so far left that they turned alt-right.
Feminazis don’t just stop at single-issue right-wing rhetoric.
While most SWERFs and TERFs start out just having one “hill to die on,” the truth is that it rarely ever stops there. They buy into a lot more of the right-wing rhetoric too — much to the detriment of women they “claim” to help.
Feminazis are often the ones who…
Are ready to police women who don’t fit the traditional look of a feminine girl at the bathroom. There have already been cases of boyish-looking ciswomen getting accosted at bathrooms by Posie fans.
Are ready to shame women for getting vaccinated or having sex. Uh, didn’t we fight for both of those things? Vaccines are what keep us safe, and sexuality is something we all now know should be left without shame.
Are ready to accuse transpeople and LGBTQIA+ people of grooming for no reason. It’s telling that Rowling and Parker didn’t seem to care about the actual child rapist who played in the games. They seemed too busy on their witch hunt.
Are ready to rally to strip transpeople of civil rights, including the right to stay employed. That’s not progressive.
Are ready to turn their noses up at interracial marriages. If you don’t believe me on this, watch what happens when radfems see a black man with a white woman. They often assume that the man hates women of his own race — a weird, judgy leap to make from just seeing a couple.
Are ready to shame women who are the primary breadwinner in their families. Yes, I put my paychecks toward my husband’s food and our cats’ wellbeing. Women fought so we could support our families. Why are radfems so hateful of women who do?
Are just plain cringy and gross. Seriously. They just seem to be very bitter, hateful, and weird people — much like their Nazi friends. I don’t want them at my parties.
There’s a reason no one wants to have Nazis in their surroundings. They’re neither fun to be around nor good people. They are cruel, vindictive, and judgmental people. And you know what? Feminazis are no different.
Alt-right “feminists” are not part of the community I want to be in.
If you don’t stand up for body autonomy, if you don’t stand up for gender rights for everyone, and if you’re ready to police women based on an arbitrary standard of beauty, stop saying you’re a feminist.
Seriously. If you’re a fan of Posie or Rowling, stop claiming the feminism tag. You clearly don’t want equal rights, and people like me clearly want nothing to do with you.

This says it ALL!!! This whole topic makes my blood boil. Great article. I’m 64, and it boggles my mind that these people have hijacked the feminist movement. I love the term ‘feminazi’ to describe them. After all, were the Nazis not the ultimate example of intolerance? I have the greatest regard possible for the move towards a non-binary society. That frees us all, IMO. Wear what you wish, love who you love: ‘if it harm none, do as ye will…”
“I consider myself a feminist but there's something rotten at the core of the ideology.” ??? Because feminazis etc pervert the ideology, it is the ideology that is wrong? Ummmmm - not sure I correctly understood what you are saying here, wonder if you would clarify…
